The team of SK 21 (tentative title) announced officially the other day that GV Prakash has been roped in to compose music for the untitled project. Makers have now unveiled a short video which has them participating in its official launch ceremony which happened at Kamal Haasan's office.

The Ulaganayagan is producing the film along with Sony Pictures International Productions and Mahendran. The video features Kamal, lead actors Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi, director Rajkumar Periasamy and GV looking all excited. Most of the crew members of the movie were spotted at the event.

An announcement on other cast members of SK 21 is expected to happen later. The crew is heading to Kashmir today to film a few crucial portions of the movie which is likely to be released in 2024. Stefan Richter and Kalaivanan are handling action choreography and editing respectively for the film.

This is the first project bankrolled by Kamal Haasan post the gargantuan success of Vikram. Silambarasan-starrer STR 48, helmed by Desingh Periyasamy, is his next movie. The veteran actor-filmmaker had announced a project with Udhayanidhi as well, which may not happen as the latter has become busy with his political career.

His most-hyped Indian 2 will be released next year after which he is likely to join hands with Mahesh Narayanan. Sivakarthikeyan will have Maaveeran and Ayalaan this year, set to release in August and November respectively.

Sai Pallavi, on the other hand, was last seen in the hard-hitting drama Gargi which was released almost a year ago. She hasn't announced any other project apart from SK 21.
