As the time for the consecration ceremony draws near, celebs and famous Indian personas arrive at Ayodhya to take part in this monumental event. Since the historic decision of the Supreme Court in 2019, the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple has been a topic of much discussion and anticipation. Invitees Sonu Nigam and Vivek Oberoi arrived at Ayodhya and were entering the Temple amid a massive crowd, when the latter was asked by the media about it.

Vivek Oberoi describes his first glimpse of the Ram Temple in real life

Oberoi answered candidly in a mix of Hindi and English, calling the temple “magical” and “spectacular”. He further explained that though he had previously seen many images, when he is seeing it now, with his own eyes, it feels, “itna anokha, itna bhavya hai, itna jadooi dekh rahe hai.” It roughly translates to, “so unique, so sacred, simply magical!”

Jackie Shroff feels being at Ayodhya Temple premise itself is a "badi baat"

Jackie Shroff was also seen entering the Temple and when asked about his feelings, he very sweetly answered in Hindi that he feels he has been showered upon and doused in love and respect, thanks to the invitation. After all, how else does a person feel when they come to the house of God, aka the temple, he states.

Jackie Shroff’s humility and sincerity is evident when he says that the fact that he has already arrived at the threshold of Lord Ram’s Janmabhoomi Temple, thanks to the Lord’s will and Indian PM Narendra Modi’s invitation is ‘badi baat’ (a huge deal) for him. And then he expressed a great idea that all should follow.

Jackie Shroff wished that all those who enter the Temple premises should first take off their shoes, before making a brusque departure from the paparazzi. Being an extra-special holy occasion, his wish seems legit and appropriate. But how far it will be followed is to be seen.

The Pran Pratishtha at the Ram Mandir will begin from 12.20pm and continue till 1pm, approximately, after which PM Narendra Modi will give a speech. The event will be live on several channels and platforms like ABP news and DistroTV channels. But thanks to OTTplay Premium, viewers can stream it live on the app’s multiple partner channels.
