Soon-to-be parents Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor are all smiles as they pose for shutterbugs

Bollywood's power couple, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, are leaving no stone unturned to promote their upcoming film Brahmastra. The soon-to-be parents, who are working together for the first time, ventured out of their home in Mumbai for a quick promotional event for the upcoming film on Friday, as reported by India Today.

The much-in-love couple posed for shutterbugs outside Mehboob Studio and Alia looked like a happy mommy-to-be in her comfortable maternity clothes, and in the company of her husband. She wore a sheer oversized top and matched it with a pair of dark trousers. Ranbir Kapoor complemented her look by wearing an all-blue ensemble.

Recently, Alia Bhatt informed that she will be officially changing her name to Alia Bhatt Kapoor. Alia recently discussed formally incorporating the Kapoor last name in an interview with Mid-Day.

She claimed that while her husband, Ranbir Kapoor quickly updated his passport to indicate his marriage, she was unable to do so due to her extensive travel and business obligations following her wedding. For those who are unaware, Alia recently spent a few months in London filming Heart of Stone, her first Hollywood film, with Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan.

Alia added, “I will be doing it (adding the Kapoor surname). I have to add all these things. I am happy to do it.” She elaborated further and added, “We are going to have a child now. I don’t want to be the Bhatt, whilst the Kapoors are travelling together; you know what I mean? I don’t want to feel left out.” Alia remained certain that her screen name would not change.

Ranbir and Alia’s movie Brahmastra is slated to hit the theatres on September 9, 2022. The Bollywood stars tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai, on April 14 of this year.
