Soori spent his birthday on the sets of Suriya’s Etharkkum Thunindhavan

Despite having busy schedules, with several movies under his belt, Soori decided to spend his birthday on the sets of the Suriya-starrer Edharkkum Thunindhavan. Pandiraj, the director of the upcoming action-thriller, took to social media the previous day to put up a post of the movie’s team celebrating Soori’s birthday.

The actor celebrated his 44th birthday on the set. The pics posted on social media have him cutting five birthday cakes surrounded by the team of Edarkkum Thunindhavan. The movie is going to be Suriya’s 40th one, and its first look was released on his birthday, last month. The rest of the cast includes Priyanka Mohan, Sathyaraj and Saranya Ponvanan, who also celebrated Soori’s birthday on the set. He is expected to play a prominent role in the movie.

Soori is considered to be one of the most bankable comedians in Kollywood today. He currently has a few movies under his kitty, which include Vetrimaaran’s Viduthalai, in which he plays the protagonist. The actor’s latest photoshoot which was released on social media went viral in no time, thanks to his lean avatar.

According to reports, the actor will be seen in a never-before-seen avatar in Viduthalai. He was asked to get into shape by Vetrimaaran for getting into the shoes of the character. He will be essaying the role of a cop in the film. He had mentioned earlier that the six-pack body that he developed over the years came in handy for the role. Viduthalai also features Vijay Sethupathi in an important role.
