Subhashree Ganguly to debut on OTT?

Abir Chatterjee has just debuted with Avrodh 2. Now, Subhashree Ganguly too is reported to debut on OTT. According to industry sources, the actress is now gearing up to work in Debaloy Bhattacharya’s series Indubala Bhater Hotel for Hoichoi. Along with this, Subhashree will get back to work with SVF after many years. 

Based on a novel by Kallol Lahiri, Indubala Bhater Hotel will go to the floors by the end of July. The shooting will take place in Kolkata and Bangladesh. 

Subhashree has just wrapped up shooting Parambrata Chatterjee’s Boudi Canteen in which she plays the lead. Billed as a story of women's emancipation, the film delves into the life of a homemaker. The actress took to social media to announce the end of the shooting. Meanwhile, she has paired up with Parambrata for her husband Raj Chakraborty's Habji Gabji. The film deals with a delicate and important issue of mobile addiction and gaming disorder among children. Subhashree plays the character of a mother whose son suffers from a gaming disorder.

With Indubala Bhater Hotel, Subhashree will be one of the latest entries in the OTT universe. Several heroines, including Paoli, Swastika Mukherjee, Srabanti, Paayel Sarkar and many others, have been regular on national and Bengali OTT series. In fact, after Parambrata, Anirban Bhattacharya, Ritwick Chakraborty, and others, Abur too has debuted with Avrodh 2 on Sony Liv. With this series, Abir has also stepped into Bollywood.
