As of now, only 99 days remain for the release of The Archies on Netflix. The Zoya Akhtar-directed film based on the favourite comics of many has a stellar cast that also includes newcomers, namely Dot, Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Mihir Ahuja, Suhana Khan, Vedang Raina, and Yuvraj Menda. In the film, Dot will play Ethel Muggs, Agastya will play the charming and talented Archie Andrews, Khushi will play Betty Cooper, Mihir will play the ever-hungry Jughead Jones, Suhana will play Veronica Lodge, Vedang will showcase the heartthrob Reggie Mantle, and Yuvraj will play Dilton Doiley in the Indian adaptation of the beloved comics.

Ahead of the release, the star cast featured on the cover of the latest issue of Vogue India. During an interaction with the magazine, the cast was given a situation and asked how they and their characters would react to it. When Suhana was asked how Veronica and she would react if they attended a VIP party only to discover that you and another guest were dressed identically.
Here's what Suhana and Veronica would do:
Suhana said, as an alternative, "Veronica would have a backup option ready just in case and disappear for a quick outfit change in the middle of the party." While, in real life, she would have no objections to that, if they were close, Suhana would want a photo with them. In her opinion, that would be adorable.
The young actor was also asked what Veronica would do if she learned that her boyfriend had been sneaking into the inboxes of other girls. To which she said that Veronica has a big queue of suitors already and plans to initiate contact with other males via text message. Suhana revealed that she is the type of woman who prefers a monogamous relationship with her boyfriend, so she would end things with him.
Interestingly, Suhana, when asked if she learns that malicious gossip has been spread about her, said that Veronica would argue that the only reason anyone ever mentions her is because they can't get anyone to pay attention to what they have to say. While Suhana doesn't think she is anything like the role she plays, if that happened, she would probably have a good, long cry.

Meanwhile, while talking about Veronica's character in her film, Zoya told the magazine that although The Archies is set in the 1960s, the clothing styles seen in the film are decidedly more reminiscent of the 1950s, except for Veronica, who is constantly on the move and in the know about fashion.
The Archies premieres on Netflix on December 7, 2023.
