The team of Ranjit Jeyakodi's Michael promotes the film in theatres where Vikram is being screened

The team of Ranjit Jeyakodi's pan-India film Michael have come up with a unique way of promoting their film. They have been placing standees of the film in around 200 theatres where Kamal Haasan's Vikram is being screened. Interestingly, the director of Vikram, Lokesh Kanagaraj, is presenting the film. Michael stars Sundeep Kishan and Vijay Sethupathi (who will make a special appearance in the film). The film is produced by Sree Venkateswara Cinemas, in association with Karan C Productions.
Sundeep, who has completed 12 years in the film industry, has stepped up his fitness regimen and lost weight, getting leaner and fitter, for the film. He will play the titular character in the film. On Sundeep Kishan's birthday, a poster from the film was released, in which Sundeep is seen in a lean and mean avatar. He is seen in an intense look and has a gun in hand. Gautham Vasudev Menon is said to be playing a negative character in the film. Divyansha Kaushik is the leading lady opposite Sundeep Kishan. The film will also have Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Varun Sandesh in crucial roles. The team recently roped in Anasuya Bharadwaj as well. The shoot for the film is happening at a rapid pace.It is said that around 75 per cent of the portions are complete. Michal will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.
Sundeep Kishan was seen latest in Chimbu Devan's hyperlink drama, Kasada Thapara. Lokesh Kanagaraj had roped in Sundeep Kishan for his maiden directorial Maanagaram. The film was critically acclaimed and did well at the box office.
In the meantime, Kamal Haasan's Vikram, which released today, across the world, is running to packed houses. The action entertainer has Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil in crucial roles. Suriya has made a cameo appearance in it.
