Sunny Leone bags role in Anurag Kashyap’s next; says her journey was by no means easy

Sunny Leone has been a part of the Hindi film industry for 10 years now, after making her Bollywood debut with Jism 2 in 2012. After having been part of a handful of movies since, the actor has now bagged a once in a lifetime role. Sunny Leone will be a part of filmmaker Anurag Kashyap’s next. 

The actor took to Instagram earlier today to announce the news with her fans. Sharing a photo with the director on the social media platform, she wrote, “Yes my smile is “ear to ear” because dreams do come true! I never in a million years thought someone as amazing like @anuragkashyap10 would take a chance on me. My journey has been amazing but by no means “easy”.”

Sunny added that she received a call asking if she would audition for the filmmaker’s movie after being in India and in Bollywood for many years and that this was one moment where everything changed. 

The Ragini MMS 2 actor further added that Anurag took a chance on her and she will never forget this no matter how things turn out. She finally thanked the filmmaker for being a part of the film.  

The director also took to Instagram to share pictures with the actor and thanked her for being a part of his film and said it was “incredible” to work with her. 

Having made her debut in 2012, Sunny has since appeared in movies such as Jackpot, Ragini MMS 2, Ek Paheli Leela and Mastizaade. She was last seen in the MX Player web series Anamika, which was released earlier this year. 

Anurag Kashyap’s previous directorial was the drama Choked starring Saiyami Kher and Roshan Mathew in the lead. The movie is now available to stream on Netflix.
