Super Pumped – The Battle For Uber: When and where to watch Joseph Gordon-Levitt as former Uber CEO Travis Kalanick

Super Pumped: The Battle For Uber, a five-episode anthology drama that adapts New York Times journalist Mike Isaac’s book by the same name, revolves around the rise and fall of former Uber CEO Travis Kalanick. Narrated by filmmaker Quentin Tarantino, the show, which has Joseph Gordon Levitt play Kalanick, will be available to stream in India too.

A Showtime original, which is premiering on February 27, Super Pumped: The Battle For Uber will stream here on Voot Select a day later, on February 28. This is the first season in the Super Pumped series, which will return soon with a second on Facebook, based yet again on a book by Isaac. The original synopsis for The Battle For Uber reads, “Based on the shocking true story, strap in for the meteoric rise and fall of Uber founder, Travis Kalanick. With a lift from venture capitalist Bill Gurley and board member Arianna Huffington, Kalanick takes a win-at-all-costs approach to forge the fledgling start-up into a multi-billion-dollar tech titan. But every surge comes at a price – and as his visionary drive spirals out of control, it threatens to be the downfall of it all.”

The series, which also stars Kyle Chandler, Elisabeth Shue, Uma Thurman, Hank Azaria and Kerry Bishe, among others, dramatizes the roller-coaster ride of one of Silicon Valley's most successful and most destructive companies, Uber, from the perspective of its CEO Travis Kalanick, who is then ousted in a boardroom coup.

Created by Brian Koppelman and David Levien, Super Pumped: The Battle For Uber is one of four anthology dramas, which explore other stories of businesses that have affected the culture.
