Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava has set a benchmark that newer releases - Reema Kagti's Superboys of Malegaon as well as Sohum Shah's Crazxy - are finding tough to beat

Reema Kagti's Superboys of Malegaon also seems to have suffered from Chhaava syndrome, a la Sohum Shah’s latest offering Crazxy. The movies are not performing at the Box Office as expected. Despite it being the first Saturday and first day of the weekend, the Adarsh Gourav-starring Superboys of Malegaon saw stunted growth at the Box Office. Here's how much it minted on day 2...
Adarsh Gourav-starrer Superboys of Malegaon earned Rs. 65 lakh at the Box Office on day two, according to Sacnilk. Thus, the net total of the movie in two days is Rs. 1.15 crore.

Sohum Shah's Crazxy, which released on the same day as Superboys of Malegaon, has been suffering the same fate at the Box Office (only slightly better in terms of numbers). The movie managed to mint barely Rs. 1 crore per day. Its current Box Office in two days stands at Rs. 2.15 crore net.
Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava has minted over Rs. 400 crore at the Box Office in less than a month of its release. The craze for the movie refuses to die down. The newer releases i.e. neither Crazxy nor Superboys of Malegaon could hold up in front of the film's demand. However, Reema Kagti does not have much to worry about with her movie since she has already struck a deal with Prime Video. Owing to that, her movie has recovered its costs and all the Box Office earnings are extra profits for the film at this point. Given that day 2 i.e. Saturday did not help either Crazxy or Superboys of Malegaon much, now we'll have to wait till Sunday and especially Monday to find out if the tables can turn around.
