Superstar Rajinikanth watches Vikram; calls it 'Super'

It looks like Superstar Rajinikanth has watched Kamal Haasan's latest offering, the action entertainer Vikram. The Superstar, who liked the film, immediately called up his friend Kamal Haasan and said the film was 'Super'. He also seems to have called the film's director Lokesh Kanagaraj, music composer Anirudh Ravichander and co-producer Mahendran and congratulated the entire team.

Interestingly, Kamal Haasan had met Rajinikanth amid the promotions of the film. He was accompanied by director Lokesh Kanagaraj. Lokesh took to his social media handle to share two pictures at Rajinikanth's residence. He captioned the post, “Thank you @ikamalhaasan Sir! @rajinikanth Sir! What a friendship! inspiring Love you Sir's.” The comment section was soon filled with fans of Rajinikanth wishing success to Vikram team and Kamal fans, in turn, thanking them for the gesture.

In the meantime, Suriya, who has made a special appearance in the film, said that it was his dream come true to share screen space with Kamal Haasan. Addressing Kamal Haasan as anna, he wrote, "Dearest @ikamalhaasan Anna எப்படி சொல்றது…!? This is a dream come true to be on screen with you..! Thank you for making this happen! @Dir_Lokesh Overwhelmed to see all the love!! #Rolex #Vikram (sic)."

To which Kamal replied that the film was long overdue, "Dear @Suriya_offl Thambi,This was long overdue you know it. Love, you already had. Now increase that demography. All the very best for you my thambi , sorry Thambi Sir. 🙂 (sic)."

Actor-politician Udhayanidhi Stalin, who acquired the theatrical rights of the film in Tamil Nadu, was one of the first to watch the action entertainer and said that the film will be a blockbuster.

Kamal replied this enthusiasts will run on to everyone and that the film will go places. He wrote," Thanking Udhay, Ulaganayagan posted, "Dear @Udhaystalin thambi. Thanks for your glowing first view report on #Vikram. You had proclaimed yourself as a fan. Your report will enthuse all my other brothers to dizzying heights (sic)".
