Suriya 43: THIS talented Bollywood actor is set to make his Tamil debut with Sudha Kongara's film?

It is known that Suriya and Sudha Kongara decided to join hands again after Soorarai Pottru which went on to win several accolades. GV Prakash was the music director for the National Award-winning film and the trio had expressed excitement over teaming up again some time ago.

The director has been busy making the Hindi remake of Soorarai Pottru in which Suriya plays a cameo. The untitled Akshay Kumar-starrer was initially supposed to hit the screens in September, but postponed owing to reasons known to the makers.

Suriya 43 to have THIS Bollywood actor making Tamil debut

Suriya, Sudha Kongara's project is tentatively called Suriya 43. There were reports that Dulquer Salmaan will also be playing an important character in the movie. Hombale Films, we hear, was the frontrunner in bagging its production. Though no details have been officially let out, we now come across another interesting development.

Bollywood actor Vijay Verma is said to be essaying a pivotal character in the film. If it materializes, this will mark his Tamil debut. The actor forayed into the Telugu film industry a few years ago. He was seen in Lust Stories 2, Dahaad and Kaalkoot this year.

Suriya 43 likely to take off in 2024

The movie is expected to go on floors next year after the actor wraps up Kanguva, the much-expected multilingual project directed by Siva. The film, which is reportedly the biggest project in Suriya's career, is said to be hitting the screens as a summer release in 2024.

The million-dollar question is when the actor will begin shooting for Vetri Maaran's ambitious film Vaadi Vaasal. A test shoot for a few portions was done last year.
