Sushmita Sen has a delightful reaction to Rajeev Sen-Charu Asopa calling off their divorce

Sushmita Sen has responded to the news that her brother Rajeev Sen and his wife Charu Asopa, are giving their marriage another shot. Rajeev and Charu had recently announced that they were breaking up, but they later revealed that they were staying together to work on their marriage. The pair have previously faced marital difficulties, even staying apart for extended periods of time.

Announcing the happy news, Charu had posted images of herself, Rajeev, and their ten-month-old daughter Ziana celebrating Gahesh Chaturthi. She captioned her Instagram post, “Marriages are made in heaven but it is left to us to make it work. Yes we went ahead and announced that we are ending our marriage and we realised that we had reached the dead end and nothing beyond. Divorce was an option we were considering and we wont deny that..” The pair continued by saying that they had made the decision to "maintain their marriage" in order to provide Ziana with the greatest possible upbringing.

In response to Charu's post on their marriage, Sushmita said, “I am soooooo happy for all 3 of you!!! Dugga Dugga Shona!!!”

Charu and Rajeev had tied the knot in June 2019. Sushmita, her children Renee and Alisah, and her ex-boyfriend Rohman Shawl had attended their lavish wedding in Goa.

On the work front, Sushmita’s next appearance will be in the third season of Aarya on Disney+ Hotstar. The show is presently in pre-production. Sushmita will also be appearing in Deepak Mukut and Mansi Bagla's next biographical film, which is still unnamed.
