Sushmita Sen starrer Aarya 2 shoot wrapped, Ram Madhvani calls journey ‘scary but fun’

Filmmaker Ram Madhvani on Tuesday (August 10) took to his social media handles to announce that the shoot of Aarya Season 2 has been completed. The web series features Sushmita Sen in the titular role. Madhvani tweeted, “The journey of #Aarya2 has been tough, scary but fun! The “new normal” in life resulted in a lot of struggles as we chose to do what we are passionate about.”

He added, “But what makes it worthwhile is the team you journey with and I am grateful to each and every one of these passionate people. Without their dedication and work ethic, we wouldn’t have finished shooting #Aarya2 safely!”

Aarya marked Sushmita’s digital debut and her comeback to acting and her fans are so excited to see her on-screen again. It also marked Ram’s debut in the webspace. The first season also featured Chandrachur Singh, Namit Das and Sikander Kher in pivotal roles.

Sushmita Sen recently shared news about Aarya 2 during a live session on Instagram. During the session, she said that she was dying to tell us about Aarya and the last schedule for the series is left, which is not too long. She also added that the amount of love and appreciation that the audience has given for Aarya is massive and she expects the audience to love season two as well. She also said that for all the good things one has to wait.

Created by Madhvani and Sandeep Modi, the series is the Indian adaptation of Penoza which is a Dutch crime-drama series.
