There is no doubt that Suzhal was a piece of visual grandeur. Set against the milieu of Mayanakolai festival of fictional town of Sambaloor, the series brimmed with visual spectacle and mail-biting premise. With Suzhal ending on the note where Nandini is jailed for killing her abuser, the second season begins with the death of a lawyer who defended Nandini. Even as he appears righteous, his death leads to a probe that is shrouded with dark secrets from past coming to the fore.
