Taapsee Pannu in Shah Rukh Khan’s next with Rajkumar Hirani? Haseen Dillruba actress clears the air

Taapsee Pannu, who is all set to be seen in her upcoming film titled Haseen Dillruba, has been caught in the web of rumours. Recently, gossip mills have been churning that the actress has been cast in Shah Rukh Khan's next film with ace filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani. Even though her schedule is completely packed, the rumours are growing by every passing day.

Most of the speculations are ignited by the buzz around Shah Rukh's much-awaited comeback after his hiatus since the release of Anand L Rai's Zero. The actor has been extra careful regarding the privacy of his upcoming projects. Currently, SRK is reportedly busy shooting with Deepika Padukone for Yash Raj Film's upcoming project Pathan. The film will mark SRK's return on screen after three years. Apart from this project, rumours are rife that Shah Rukh will be taking up Rajkumar Hirani and Atlee Kumar's next directorial. However, there hasn’t been any official announcement on the same yet.

Clearing the air about the rumours of being cast in the Hirani directorial with SRK, Taapsee said in an interview with the entertainment portal Koimoi, "If something like this happens, I would climb on the roof of my terrace and announce it. It’s not news that needs to be kept under the wraps." Going by her words, it looks like there is time for the rumours to turn into reality, but fans are still hoping for the two actors to pair up for a movie soon.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Taapsee is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film Haseen Dillruba, with Vikrant Massey and Jarshvardhan Rane. The film has been directed by Vinil Mathew and will be releasing on Netflix on July 2, 2021.
