Taapsee Pannu shares intriguing still from debut production Blurr

Actor-producer Taapsee Pannu has shared a still from her upcoming movie Blurr on her social media pages on Monday. The movie is the first project produced by the actor’s new production company, Outsider’s Films.

The wide shot photograph shows a curly-haired Pannu wearing a long green coat, grey pants, black footwear and a slingback, walking against a background featuring luscious greenery. The post is captioned “There is a certain calm about this place….” The caption also features the hashtags ‘#Day1’ and ‘#Blurr’.

In addition to the still, the Thappad actor also shared more photographs from the set on her Instagram stories, tagging fellow cast member Gulshan Devaiah in one as well. Another features director Ajay Bahl, who is seen to be pointing at the camera, or the person behind it, with a mask on. The movie has begun filming on location in Nainital.

The film is directed by Ajay Bahl, who has worked on films like BA Pass and Section 375. Blurr is described as being a psychological thriller, a genre of film Pannu has made her mark in with her previous works like Badla and Haseen Dillruba.

A Poster of Blurr posted on the lead actor’s Instagram shows Pannu with bandages across her eyes, with a pair of hands enclosing them from behind. The title ‘Blurr’ is seen at the bottom of it, in block letters.

Taapsee Pannu also has a row of films coming up, including Looop Lapeta, Rashmi Rocket, DooBaaraa and Shabaash Mithu.

Blurr is scheduled for a 2022 release.
