Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: Shailesh Lodha’s exit makes way for Sachin Shroff’s entry

Shailesh Lodha’s exit from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has paved way for Sachin Shroff. The actor has now replaced Shailesh as the narrator of the show, Taarak Mehta. Shailesh had quit the show in June. The makers have been searching for Taarak ever since and now, it ends with Sachin coming on board.

Producer Asit Kumarr Modi has confirmed the development in a recent interview. He told IANS, “Yes, we have cast Sachin Shroff in our show.”

He added that the makers were looking for a face who connects well with the viewers. The producer also said that they were looking for a ‘committed actor,’ thus making Sachin the perfect choice.

Shailesh Lodha left Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah for another show. Asit has clarified time-and-again that Shailesh did not wish to re-enter the show. He tried to connect with the actor, who showed no interest in either receiving the calls or coming back as Taarak, a character he played for years at an end.

Reportedly, Shailesh quit Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah over creative differences. Asit tried reaching out to him and even released a video confirming that he has been trying to get Shailesh back on board but since the actor was not willing to come back, the makers were looking out for a new Taarak simultaneously.

Sachin Shroff is a well-known face in the TV industry. He appeared in CID and Balika Vadhu among various renowned projects.

The actor was last seen in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein. He is now, of course, a part of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, streaming on Sony LIV.
