Anand Devarakonda is one of the young actors in Telugu cinema who is slowly making his presence felt. Post the success of Baby, now streaming on OTTplay Premium, Anand signed three films in Telugu, one of which is a direct OTT release titled Takshakudu.
Netflix announced multiple OTT series and originals today, and Takshakudu is one of them. The first look of the film was revealed, showcasing Anand Devarakonda holding a gun and looking quite intense. The special aspect of the film is that it has been directed by Vinod Ananthoju, who last made the OTT original Middle Class Melodies with Anand.
Nitisha Goyal of Laapataa Ladies fame is playing the female lead in this film, which is being backed by the makers of DJ Tillu, Lucky Bhaskar, Sir, and Kingdom. Janardhan has penned the story of this film, which has completed its shoot.
The post-production formalities have already begun, and very soon Netflix will announce its streaming date. This is the first time that Anand will be seen in such an intense role in his career. The news is that Takshakudu has solid emotions and an intense thrill that will impress one and all.

It has been quite some time since Anand was last seen in a Telugu film, and this new announcement has made his fans happy. Along with Takshakudu, Netflix also announced yet another comedy web series Super Subbu, which has Sundeep Kishan and Mithila Parker in lead roles. Stay tuned for more updates.
