Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Kiya, which was previously available for rent on Prime Video with early access, is finally streaming on the platform. The sci-fi romantic comedy starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon is a box office hit, and many have been waiting to catch up with the film on OTT. Directed by the duo Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Kiya also stars Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia in pivotal roles.
A love story between man and machine
In the film, Shahid Kapoor's character, Aryan, is unable to find a life partner who is ideal for him. He ends up falling in love with Sifra (Kriti Sanon), a girl who is the epitome of perfection, when he is on an official assignment in the US. However, he later realises that their love story is an impossible one.
During a recent interaction with PTI, Amit, the director, spoke at length about Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. He stated that he wanted to find fresh ideas for Indian films that had never been done before. The filmmaker aimed to depict the tale of man vs. machine in this film. Given how pervasive machines are in modern life, the idea of a film based on this issue has always existed. Their original plan was to make a film that the general public in India would like.
Casting Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon: A dream team
Talking about the casting, Amit added that Shahid is an actor that he has always liked. They were hoping he'd persuade people that robots can be romantic partners. Writing a story also involves thinking about how likely it is that viewers will enjoy it; therefore, a convincing performer is required. Two brilliant performers (Shahid and Kriti) saying "yes" to his film is a true blessing.
At the end of Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, there's a major hint that a sequel is likely to take place, given that Janhvi Kapoor makes a special appearance. However, despite box office success and mixed reactions from the masses, the makers have yet to make an official announcement on the same.
