Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil box office collection day 4: Tamil actor Jiiva joined hands with Malayalam filmmaker Nithish Sahadev for Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil, which has been performing well at the cinemas. Despite competing with biggies like Sivakarthikeyan’s political drama Parasakthi and Karthi’s Vaa Vaathiyaar, Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil has been able to put up a strong performance. The Jiiva film made the most of the festive weekend, raking in Rs 5.25 crore on day 4 at the box office.

The 2026 film Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil or TTT released in theatres on January 15, 2026, joining the other major Tamil releases for Pongal. The Nithish Sahadev directorial opened with Rs 1.5 crore. But mostly positive reviews meant that Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil increased its earnings in the coming days with Rs 2.9 crore on day 2. However, the film more than doubled its earnings with Rs 5.5 crore collected on day 3. The film ended the festive weekend on a high with Rs 5.25 crore.

This is in stark contrast with Karthi’s movie Vaa Vaathiyaar, which could not even make Rs 1 crore on Sunday. The other major release, Parasakthi, starring Sivakarthikeyan and Ravi Mohan, made Rs 2.90 crore on January 18.

The total India collection of TTT is at Rs 15.15 crore, while the Karthi film's collection is at Rs 7.46 crore.

But the real test for Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil begins on January 19, with the festival holidays coming to an end. It remains to be seen if Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil is able to continue to attract audiences to movie halls.
