Thalavara: Arjun Ashokan's upcoming film to hit the big screen on this date
It has been confirmed that the movie will hit the big screen on August 15. There are currently no other Malayalam films scheduled for the same day's theatrical release.

The makers of the upcoming Malayalam film, Thalavara, unveiled its first poster today (July 25). It has revealed the lead characters played by Arjun Ashokan as well as theatrical release date through this latest poster.

It has been confirmed that the movie will hit the big screen on August 15. There are currently no other Malayalam films scheduled for the same day's theatrical release. In the upcoming days, a trailer for Thalavara is anticipated. Arjun portrays a character who has been diagnosed with Vitilago in the poster.
In supporting roles, the cast also includes Ashokan, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Devadarshini Chetan, Sharath Sabha, Aathira Maryam, Prashanth Murali, Sam Mohan, Hareesh Kumar, Sohan Seenulal, Shaju Sreedhar, Vishnu Raghu, Muhammad Rafi, Manoj Moses, Shebin Benson, Ashwath Lal, and Amith Mohan Rajeshwari. The female role is played by Revathy Sharma.
Under the auspices of Shebin Backer Productions and Moving Narratives, Shebin Backer and Mahesh Narayanan have bankrolled the film, which is directed by Akhil Anilkumar. The director, who co-wrote the script with Appu Aslam, is the creator of the story. The film's soundtracks have been composed by Electronic Kili. Rahul Radhakrishnan is the editor, and Anirudh Aneesh oversaw the camera work.

The actor had a couple of film such as Ennu Swantham Punyalan, Anpodu Kanmani and Bromance released in the first half of 2025. Bromance is available to watch in multiple languages on Sony LIV and OTTplay Premium. He also made a guest appearance in Mohanlal's box office hit, Thudarum, which is streaming on JioHotstar and OTTplay Premium. His upcoming film, Sumathi Valavu, will have a theatrical premiere on August 1. The horror comedy drama also stars Balu Varghese, Gokul Suresh, Saiju Kurup, and Malavika Manoj in important roles.
Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies is among Arjun's line-up of films this year. Roshan Mathew also play a lead part in this film, which is touted to be an action movie.
