In a recent interview with the Ginger Media Entertainments, Arjun spoke about how the entire family had been waiting for such a role.
“Now, I am getting more calls about Ayyappan than for my films. This is probably what we as a family and my father had been waiting for - getting such a role,” he said, adding that everyone is really happy.
Remarking how this has been a role-reversal experience for him, Arjun said that how his father would have felt proud about when people lauded his acting, he is feeling the same.
