Thank God Trailer: Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra Play the Game of Afterlife

The trailer of Thank God, featuring Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra, Rakul Preet Singh and Nora Fatehi, begins with Malhotra’s character Ayan getting into a car accident. He wakes up to find himself in an arena, faced with Chitragupt (Devgn) who says they’re going to play a “game”. The game involves looking back at Ayan’s life and locating his faults. Along the way, Fatehi appears as an apsara (fairy) because apparently only men feel lust and the role of Ayan’s wife — who is a cop — is played by Singh. It’s difficult to decide what looks more fake — the acting by all the film’s stars or the visual effects used to show the afterlife. 

A T-Series Films and Maruti International production, Thank God is directed by Indra Kumar and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Ashok Thakeria, Sunir Kheterpal, Deepak Mukut, Anand Pandit and Markand Adhikari. The film is set to release this Diwali on October 25.
