Story:

The Bad Batch are left secluded. They have to figure a way out, all by themselves.

Review:

The latest episode of The Bad Batch season 2, The Crossing, once again, takes you into the world of Star Wars and makes you realize soon that this is different.

Tech is geekier than always and it’s a tad bit much. He’s a party pooper, almost like always.

Echo is missed this time around. While there’s a mention of him all the time, he is never there.

Hunter turns out to be the smart one this time. Wrecker, not so much.

Omega is just like always. She’s one worried sick girl with nothing interesting happening with her but everything happening around her.

She has a depressing side, rather, this time around and like you can guess, it isn’t appealing one bit. Moreover, her scenes are in the dark, which leave you wondering what exactly is she feeling. The screenplay only makes you lose interest.

Cid’s story is back this time after a pause the last time around. Honestly, it makes us wonder why did they ever change.

A mysterious figure appears in the series this time. The Bad Batch get into trouble thanks to this mysterious someone.

The series turns emotional. Thankfully, that builds into something wonderful, which comes as unexpected from this series.

The episode ends on an abrupt but hopeful note. Let’s just hope the next episode has something better in store.

Verdict:

Imagine you meet a new version of the Star Wars’ Chewbacca. Soon after, you have to meet the rejected batch who are still good-for-nothing and a waste of space. Well, that’s exactly what you feel with this episode of The Bad Batch season 2.
