Story:

Omega and the clone troops are out to loot from The Empire. Will they succeed?

Review:

Episode one of The Bad Batch season 2 – Spoils of war – is not the most impressive episode from the Star Wars series. Even in the animated versions, this one is only barely there.

The only female character Omega is pretty darn cool in action. She, however, is not seen in action as much as expected from there.

Tech, as always, is a geek. He’s a sweetheart who, like his name, is all about tech rather than action.

Dooku does not appear but his name does in this season. This comes as a surprise.

Hunter is one of the most attractive characters, followed by Wreck. As a team, the four are unstoppable.

The story gets interesting point-after-point between the first and second episode. It leaves you wondering what next.

The second episode – Ruins of war – is barely there. Even if it gets interesting, the story turns monotonous.

Most of the series is shot in the dark. That does affect the show to an extent.

However, it is not possible to judge the entire show on the basis of two episodes. Till now, The Bad Batch season 2 is only partly good.

Verdict:

The Bad Batch season 2 has a lukewarm beginning. There’s no reason to watch this animated series already.
