The Ghost: Nagarjuna, director Praveen Sattaru and team commence new schedule in Ooty

Director Praveen Sattaru, who last worked on Tamannaah's web show 11th Hour, is leaving no stone unturned to wrap up his next feature film, The Ghost, at the earliest. The Ghost, an action entertainer headlined by Nagarjuna Akkineni, features Sonal Chauhan as the female lead, while Gul Panag and Anikha Surendran essay pivotal roles too. Narayan Das Narang, Puskur Ram Mohan Rao and Sharrath Marar are jointly producing the film under Sree Venkateshwara Cinemas LLP and Northstar Entertainment.

The team of The Ghost had recently finished filming an extensive schedule in Dubai, with the leading lady Sonal Chauhan also participating in the shoot. Nagarjuna and Sonal Chauhan are cast as Interpol officers in the film. After Dubai,the team has now headed to Ooty for another schedule. Mukesh G is the cinematographer of the actioner with Brahma Kadali heading the art direction team. Dinesh Subbarayan and Kaecha are on board as the stunt directors. Venkateswara Rao Challagulla is the executive producer. Earlier, Kajal Aggarwal was to play the female lead in the film and had also shot a few portions, after which she quit the project midway owing to her pregnancy. Amala Paul's name was also considered for the role but the opportunity finally knocked Sonal Chauhan's door.

After The Ghost, Praveen Sattaru will team up with Varun Tej for a film which was launched recently. The film will be produced by BVSN Prasad. Nagarjuna's other major release in 2022 is Brahmastra, the ambitious project of Ayan Mukerji, also starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan.
