The Great Indian Family OTT release date: Where to watch Vicky Kaushal's family entertainer after its theatrical run

The Great Indian Family has made it to the big screen today (September 22, 2023). Vicky Kaushal and Manushi Chillar play the lead roles in the family film, which Vijay Krishna Acharya has directed. Although the film is getting screened in theatres, the streaming platform has now been announced. The Great Indian Family will stream on Prime Video, likely two months later. YRF-produced films are available to stream on the OTT giant.

Earlier, while talking about the film, Vicky said in a statement, The Great Indian Family is a straightforward, small-town tale that will move their emotions. The tale is set in the heart of India and focuses on the unbreakable bond between family members. The actor also said that the film illustrates how situations can put a family's bond to the test and how strong that emotional chord is between every member of an Indian family.

Vicky went on to say that their blended families are genuinely unique due to the personalities that inhabit each member. When things get difficult, they can be a tremendous asset, but they can also be quite dysfunctional. The Great Indian Family is a commemoration of their families' very essence. On September 22, Vicky prays that everyone feels this emotion and showers them with a great deal of love.

The Great Indian Family boasts a talented cast that includes Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra, Sadiya Siddiqui, Alka Amin, Srishti Dixit, Bhuvan Arora, Ashutosh Ujjwal, and Bharti Perwani.

Talking about working with the supporting cast, Vicky stated that in this film, he was able to collaborate with some of the most talented actors. It is immensely exciting for any actor of his generation to perform alongside renowned and seasoned actors such as Kumud Mishra, Manoj Pahwa, Yashpal Sharma, Sadiya, and Alka. I had excellent rapport with Srishti, Bhuvan, Aasif Khan, Ashutosh, and Bharti.
