The Impossible Heir Episode 8 Story

Episode 8 of The Impossible Heir revolves around the miseries of Tae-Oh (played by Lee Jae-wook) and the ulterior motives of Kang In-ha (Lee Jun-young). It also reflects on Inha’s secret connection with Gi-jun, who plotted against him to put Tae-Oh behind bars. The latest installment centred around Tae-ho's prison life, where he had a chance encounter with a criminal gang’s moneylender, Boss Tak.

Later, Tae-Oh strikes a deal with him to arrange a mobile phone so that he can keep in touch with the outside world and continue his investigation to search for the killer and get himself acquitted. Meanwhile, the hacker Sunwoo also investigates the real motive behind trapping Tae-Oh, while In-ha plans Tae-Oh's murder.

The Impossible Heir Episode 8 Review

The latest episode unravels the dark side of Kang In-ha and his enmity towards Tae-Oh from the beginning. Earlier, he was portrayed as Tae-Oh's friend but was later revealed to be one of his biggest enemies.

Despite revealing the true identity of Kang In-ha, the series is plunging to new lows every week due to its weak narration and unexplored characters. Every week, some fresh characters are introduced without exploring the existing characters’ backstories.

This episode mostly revolved around In-ha and his conspiracies to eliminate both Tae-Oh and Hye-won from climbing the corporate ladder. Finally, the episode witnessed some thrilling plot twists that showed the changed dynamics between the three leading trios: Hye-won, Tae-Oh, and Kang In-ha. However, the series requires a lot of attention and dedication to watch since beginners or anyone who missed the previous episodes won’t be able to catch up with the complex narrative.

The Impossible Heir Episode 8 Verdict

The latest episode failed to capture the essence of the revenge thriller as it is still revolving around business and family conspiracies. Apart from the confrontation between two friends, the drama is falling flat with a complex narrative.

Starring Lee Jae-wook, Lee Jun-young, and Hong Su-zu as the leading trio, The Impossible Heir is a thriller-revenge K-drama that is currently streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
