The Kapil Sharma Show releases its first promo: New season of the comedy show to be aired soon

After a long hiatus due to the pandemic, The Kapil Sharma Show is expected to be back on air soon as the makers have released a promo video on Sunday. The show went off air earlier this year. Fans were eagerly waiting for their favourite show to be resumed and now the promo video has brought smiles on their faces.

The promo urges the audience to get vaccinated. Krushna Abhishek, Sudesh Lehri, Bharti Singh, Kiku Sharda and Chandan Prabhakar are seen in the promo saying they took their vaccines and have confirmed the seat for the show. The team is shown entering the show in black costumes and dancing on the red carpet. This was followed by Archana Puran Singh’s entry. Kapil was seen making fun of her when she said she got vaccinated late as she belonged to the 18+ category. When the duo’s banter left everyone in splits, Kapil said, “Laughter is the best medicine, but only after vaccination,” thus spreading the vaccination awareness again. 

While the entire cast was seen in the promo, Sumona Chakravarti was conspicuously absent in the team. This was after the already on going rumours of her not being a part in the new season of the show. Also, Sudesh Lehri is the latest addition to the show.

The Kapil Sharma Show was halted since the time its host Kapil took a paternity break during the birth of his second child as he wanted to spend more time with his family. The COVID-19 lockdown, too, had affected the shooting.
