The Kashmir Files became one of the highest-grossing films of 2022 in India and now, it has made a mark even globally.

Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files has crossed another milestone. The movie has minted over Rs. 300 crores gross and with that, it has sealed its name among one of the highest-grossing films of 2022, even globally. Vivek confirmed the news through his social media handles.
"Thanks to all Indians all over the world in helping #TheKashmirFiles tell the TRUTH to the world. #RightToJustice," he penned with the note. The filmmaker revealed that the Kashmir Files minted Rs. 331 crores by the time it completed its fourth weekend in cinemas across the globe.

Out of Rs. 331 crores gross, The Kashmir Files had minted Rs. 234.32 crores nett by fourth Friday, according to a report on Box Office India. The film earned a decent Rs. 1.50 crores even on day 35.
Here’s the week-wise nett Box Office collection of The Kashmir Files till week three:
Week one – Rs. 96.14 crores
Week two – Rs. 107.68 crores
Week three – Rs. 30.50 crores
Written and directed by Vivek, The Kashmir Files questions the right to justice. It revolves around the true story of the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits in the 90s.
The movie features Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Darshan Kumar and Pallavi Joshi in the lead roles. Apart from acting, Pallavi (Vivek’s wife) is also the co-producer of the film with Vivek.
The Kashmir Files released in theatres on March 11 and has been a Box Office success over time. The movie is now slated for an OTT release in May. It will be available for streaming on Zee5.
