The untold story of the Indian Tennis legends Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi will soon be seen on a digital platform. The upcoming docu-series titled Break Point has been helmed by the award-winning filmmaker duo Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and Nitesh Tiwari. Today, the makers have revealed the first poster of the anticipated seven-part series based on the iconic on-court partnership between the two living legends.
An Instagram post by ZEE5 features the poster that has images of Paes and Bhupathi holding the tennis racket, while the line on the pic reads, “Bromance to Breakup, the untold story of Paes and Bhupathi.” Meanwhile, the caption of the post is, “They put Indian tennis on the map but walked away when they had the world at their feet. It’s time to finally hear the untold story of @mbhupathi and @leanderpaes #Breakpoint #ComingSoon only on #ZEE5 (sic).”

Leander Paes shared in a recent statement that he enjoyed this walk down the memory lane shooting for the series with storytellers like Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and Nitesh Tiwari in collaboration with ZEE5. “Mahesh and my on-court partnership were widely covered, and our off-court chemistry was largely speculated. This is the first time that our fans will get to see and hear it all, first-hand,” he added.
While Mahesh Bhupathi also shared his thoughts about the same in a recent statement and said, “It is no secret that I am a reserved person, so this is a big step for me to relive the journey and put it all out there in the most candid and honest manner.”
