Salman Khan has changed the name of his movie Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali to Bhaijaan. The actor had a very special reason to do so. In fact, the actor-producer had many reasons to do so.

Salman has a lot riding on the upcoming project and since it is very special to him, he renamed it as Bhaijaan – a name that has fondly been attached to him, revealed a source to Bollywood Hungama. The actor already wanted to name Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali to Bhaijaan and now, he had more than one reason to do that.

This story, which sees the eldest son lord over the rest of the family, holds partly true for Salman’s real life too. The actor is taking care of his whole family at this given point of time. After his father Salim (a star writer), Salman is the superstar who has been loved on the big screen for decades now.

Thanks to the new title, fans are left confused as to whether Bhaijaan will be the sequel to Kabir Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The report states that Salman might actually be thinking of a franchise. Bhaijaan Returns, Kya Baat Bhaijaan and Wah Bhaijaan could actually be a few names he might consider for the project.

Salman has started shooting for the movie in Hyderabad. He flew down to the city despite receiving death threats which blackmail that Salman will face a similar fate like Sidhu Moosewala. For the uninitiated, the Punjabi singer-actor-politician was shot dead in his car.

Before the title change, Bhaijaan reportedly underwent various other changes. Salman was reportedly ghost directing the film and Farhad Samjhi was simply an advisor on the movie. Apart from that, the two actors associated with the film walked out of the project.

Aayush Sharma and Zaheer Iqbal are reportedly no longer associated with the project. Abhimanyu Dassani and Meezan Jaffri have replaced the actors in the film which is touted to mark Shehnaaz Gill’s debut in Bollywood.
