Mahi V Raghav is one director who makes sensible projects. He is ready with his new film, Yatra 2, which will hit screens on February 8, 2024. The political drama is the biopic of AP CM YS Jagan and also has Mammootty in a key role. Today, a special song, Choodu Nanna was released and won instant appreciation.
Not many know that Mahi V Raghav made headlines in 2023 as two of his OTT projects, Shaitan and Save The Tigers were massive hits in the digital space. Well, we at OTTplay have already reported that the second season of these two shows is on the way and will be out in the first half of 2024.
Now, we have come to know that the shooting of these projects has been put on hold at once. Mahi V Raghav is headlining these shows and as his film Yatra 2 is all set for release, he does not want any deviation and has asked his team to concentrate on the promotions of the Jiiva starrer.
Yatra 2 has been made on a massive budget and is the sequel to Mahi V Raghav's hit film Yatra. The makers are planning some massive events in the days to come and want Yatra 2 to be a special spectacle for YS Jagan ahead of the Andhra Pradesh elections.
On the other hand, Shaitan was directed by Mahi V Raghav and featured Rishi, Deviyani Sharma, and Jaffer in key roles. It is a hard-hitting drama that made headlines for the use of cuss words and bold love-making scenes. It was a revenge drama set in the Rayalaseema region.
Meanwhile, Save The Tigers is a comedy caper that was a rage with the family audience. Teja Kakumanu directed the show, which had Priyadarshi, Abhinav Gomatam, and Krishna Chaitanya in lead roles and was about three frustrated husbands who kidnap a heroine.
So, we need to see when these shows will go on floors yet again. For now, it is Yatra 2 fever catching up all over. Mahi V Raghav has produced Yatra 2 on his Three Autumn Leaves banner on a massive scale. Santosh Narayanan composes the music.
