Soon after Chris Pratt unveiled the trailer of his upcoming movie The Tomorrow War, Varun Dhawan couldn’t help but swoon over it. “Those aliens look scary af, but I trust @prattprattpratt to put at least one of them in an arm bar. Looks legit,” the actor commented on Chris’ Instagram account.

Little did people know that the appreciation would bring the two actors so close that they address each other as brothers. Chris took the initiative and called Varun ‘brothaa’ and the Coolie No 1 actor reverted with the same.

Chris, who spoke to Varun after the actor’s comment on the trailer, wrote, “Great speaking with you brotha! Big shout out to you all of my friends in India! @Varun_dvn.”

In response, Varun wrote, “All love brothaa.”

Of course the netizens could not keep calm after seeing the actors bond on social media. They started expecting the two to work together

Chris, best remembered for his role as Star Lord in Guardians Of The Galaxy, spoke about India recently, to people’s surprise. The actor showed his concern over the country being affected by the second wave of COVID-19.

The Tomorrow War is slated to release on July 2 on Amazon Prime Video.

Varun Dhawan’s last film Coolie No 1 was also an Amazon Prime Video release but there is no certainty whether his upcoming movies will also be a direct-to-OTT release. The actor has Bhediya opposite Kriti Sanon and Jug Jugg Jeeyo opposite Kiara Advani, Neetu Kapoor and Anil Kapoor, in his kitty.
