'The Trail' actor Sheena Chohan wraps up her Telugu debut with this popular star

Satya fame J D Chakravarthy made a strong comeback with the web series Dayaa. His performance was lauded big-time and with his renewed energy, JD has signed multiple films in Telugu. One of them is already on floors and is an action drama that is yet to be titled.

Well, the latest update is that Sheena Chohan, who was recently seen in the Hotstar original web series 'The Trial', headlined by Kajol is playing the female lead in this film which is being produced by Malkapuram Shivakumar under the banner Suraksh Entertainment and is directed by Shravan Jonnada.

Sheena has already wrapped up her part and speaking about her debut film, she says, "I loved the challenge because it is my first film in Telugu and cannot wait for the audience to see it. I met Shivakumar sir in Mumbai a few months ago and thank him for giving me a platform to shine through. I enjoyed working with JD sir and he helped me a lot during the making of this film".

Sheena Chohan was launched in the South as the lead female role in Mammootty's The Train which was directed by Jayaraj. The film gave Sheena a lot of exposure in the South. So, with high energy, she has wrapped up her Telugu debut as well. 

JD Chakraborty, who romances her in her Telugu debut, has good things to say about about the young actress. “Sheena Chohan is very dedicated, devoted, and is born to be an actor. Her passion and dedication towards her work are great" said JD.

Sheena has 3 more upcoming releases in 2024. The first is ‘Sant Tukaram’, where she plays Avalai Jiji Bai, the female lead opposite Subodh Bhave, directed by Aditya Om. Then, a short film Amar-Prem, helmed by National Award and Filmfare winner Suvendu Raj Ghosh. Last but not least, Sheena will also be seen in a negative lead, playing a She-Devil, for another OTT platform.
