The trailer of The Watchers is out. The story of the film is written by M Night Shyamalan's daughter Ishana Night Shyamalan. Based on A.M. Shone's book of the same name, the film is a supernatural thriller starring Dakota Fanning as Mina. The film also stars Georgina Cambell, Olwen Fouere, and Oliver Finnegan in pivotal roles.
The trailer starts with an unfortunate night when Mina (Dakota), a 28-year-old artist gets stranded in an immaculate forest in Western Ireland. After her car goes missing, a few unknowns tell Mina that she just has some seconds before the shelter door closes. She then runs towards the door to save herself. She has to escape through the strange forest and creepy sounds which will give you chills while you watch.
However, the shelter house is not a safe place as well as some mysterious creatures are watching the people present in the room. Mina gets to know that these creatures come every night and keep watching them and nobody has ever seen them and if you do, you die.
The 3-minute trailer is enough to keep you on the edge of your seats with its thrilling suspense and scary forest houses. It ends with the hook who are these Watchers and what do they want?
Dakota Fanning plays the lead in the film, who, unlike other characters of the film, is not scared and wants to know the answers knowing the fact that this can be dangerous.
M. Night Shyamalan, who is known for directing films like The Village and Knock at the Cabin is serving as a producer in this film. He has successfully delivered horrors on the big screens and now it's his daughter's turn to turn this movie into a chilling experience as the trailer has caught all our attention.
The Watchers is distributed by Warner Bros Pictures and will hit the theatres on June 14, 2024.
