Elaborating further on the plot of Sajin Baabu’s upcoming film, Rima says, “It is about this mother-daughter and how she battles her journey from a secluded island all her life to being thrust to a social media stage where her life just goes public because of this one incident and the disparity of it all in the context of the digital frenzy in the world.”
As per reports, Theatre seeks to delve into fading traditions and the blurring lines between myth and reality.
Further commenting on how Theatre's plot is relevant to her in real life, Rima explains, “It is something I have been going through and it really hits me to look at it from a third-person point of view.”
“I feel so lucky that my art really helps me join the dots and figure out what is happening around me, I feel lost and helpless at times. If not for my art, I would have gone quite crazy is what I feel at times,” remarked the actress, who has been a part of films such as Virus and Indian Rupee.
