Lyca Productions surprised one and all with the sudden announcement of Theera Kaadhal, starring Jai, Aishwarya Rajesh and Sshivada, a while ago. The makers came up with the trailer in a few days and informed us about its release date, too.
The romantic drama evoked good expectations among cinephiles, thanks to its engaging promo videos. The film helmed by Rohit Venkatesan hit screens a month ago and opened to decent response from moviegoers and critics. Abdool Lee, Amzath Khan and Vriddhi Vishal play pivotal characters in the project.
What stood out in the film is the depiction of emotions; the lead characters came up with convincing performances and the engaging screenplay keeps viewers hooked. However, the lack of novelty in the plot sticks out as a sore thumb. The movie's story revolves around a family man who falls in love again with his ex-lover.
He realizes his mistake after a while, but it becomes a little late. Torn between his family life and new love, he struggles to find peace. How he overcomes the hurdle forms the rest of the story. Theera Kaadhal is now gearing up for its OTT premiere.
The film is dropping on Netflix on June 23. We had told you earlier that the OTT giant has bagged its digital rights. Ravivarman Neelamegam has cranked the camera for the project which has music by Siddhu Kumar and editing by Prasanna GK.

GR Surendarnath has penned dialogues for the film which has art direction helmed by Ramu Thangaraj. Don Ashok and Radhika have choreographed action and dance respectively.
