DC is currently embarking on a new era of new releases with new heros and villains. While most of the planned projects are live-action, animation will also play a significant role, with Creature Commandos being the first animated series to debut as Chapter 1, Gods and Monsters.

A year back, it was reported that fans may have to wait a long time to meet the Creature Commandos characters. However, DC Studios co-CEO, James Gunn has now promptly addressed these concerns on social media, confirming that the series remains on track for its 2024 premiere.

What did Gunn share?

When a Twitter (now X) user asked him if it's true that Creature Commandos will make its debut in 2025, James took to Twitter and replied, “Yes, Creature Commandos is all set to come out in 2024. There have never been any delays, thank goodness. Any info otherwise is a well-intentioned mistake or misspeaking."

Currently DC is having a hard time with back-to-back flops in the market. Hence fans have become quite restless. From The Flash's protracted development to Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom's repeated release date shifts, and Black Adam's controversial cameo leak, DC fans have endured a roller coaster of emotions. Understandably, they are eager to avoid any further delays that could derail the promising new era under Gunn's leadership.
