‘There should be an FIR against Poonam Pandey and her manager’, DEMANDS the All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA)

Starting from yesterday morning till around today afternoon, the media and social media was totally abuzz with the ‘shocking news’ about model cum actress Poonam Pandey’s 'death' due to cervical cancer. There were many celebs who took to social media a nd expressed their utmost condolence at the actor’s sudden demise.

But, today afternoon, Poonam Pandey took to social media and revealed the entire ‘death stunt’ was a part of awareness for cervical cancer. No sooner did she do the reveal, she started facing utmost backlash from almost everyone who believed that she had passed away.

All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) demand Poonam Pandey's arrest

Amongst the many who criticised Poonam Pandey for her insensitive act, there was the All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) who demanded her arrest along with her manager. They took to social media and posted, “The Fake PR stunt by Model and Actress Poonam Pandey is highly wrong. Using the guise of Cervical Cancer for self-promotion is not acceptable. After this news, people may hesitate to believe any Death news in the Indian film industry. No one in the film industry Stoops to such levels for PR”.

In the same post, they added that, since Poonam Pandey's manager had confirmed the false news, there should be an FIR against Poonam Pandey and her manager so as to prevent anyone exploiting their own death news for personal gains (PR). It also mentioned that the entire Indian film industry, along with the entire nation, paid tribute (over Poonam Pandey’s death). Along with this post, they also tagged many publications, Maharashtra’s Chief Minster Eknath Shinde and other top politicians along with the handles of top police departments as well.

For the still unversed, here’s what happened. Yesterday morning, everyone woke up to the shock of their lives after reading a shocking message posted on Poonam Pandey’s social media handle. It said, ‘Deeply saddened to inform you that we have lost our beloved Poonam to cervical cancer. Every living form that ever came in contact with her was met with pure love and kindness’. In no time, this post went viral causing immense concern towards the actress’ death from everyone.
