Arulnithi gets into experimental mode once again as he plays a man with a hearing disability in Thiruvin Kural. The film, which is helmed by Harish Prabhu, has Aathmika playing the leading lady. The team dropped the trailer today, and going by the glimpse, it looks like the film has many action-packed and edge of the seat moments. The plot will revolve around his hearing condition and the incidents shown in the trailer gives a sneak peek to the same. When it comes to suspense thrillers, Arulnithi has always got brownie points and this film seems like no exception.

The shoot for the film was canned around Chennai, Puducherry and Karaikal. The film marks the maiden collaboration of veteran actor Bharathiraja and Arulnithi. The ace director plays Arulnithi's father in the film.
The supporting cast includes Subatra Robert, Monekha Siva, Ashraf, AR Jeeva, Harish Somasundaram, Mahendran, Mullaiarasi and others to name a few. Sam CS has scored the music. While the cinematography is by Sinto Poduthas, editing is by Ganesh Siva. Stunt sequences have been choreographed by Dhilip Subbarayan & Phantom Pradeep. The film has been bankrolled by Lyca Productions.
In the meantime, Arulnithi is filming for the sequel to the horror thriller Demonte Colony (2015). While Priya Bhavani Shankar will play the leading lady, Tsering Dorjee, Arun Pandian, Muthukumar, Meenakshi Govindarajan and Sarjano Khalid will essay supporting characters. This is the second outing of Arulnithi and Priya Bhavani Shankar after Kalathil Sandhippom.
The film's director Ajay Gnanamuthu had shared his excitement about teaming up with his maiden hero after seven long years. He had also announced that more movies will be made around the Demonte Colony Universe.
While Sam CS will score the music, Harish Kannan and Deepak D Menon are in charge of the cinematography. Kumaresh will be handling the editing. The director's Gnanamuthu Pattarai and Vijay Subramanian's White Nights Entertainment are jointly bankrolling the film.
