Arulnithi's Thiruvin Kural, which hit screens on April 14 on the occasion of Tamil New Year is all set to have its digital premiere on May 12. The psychological thriller will drop on Netflix on Friday. The film is directed by Harish Prabhu NS and has Aathmika as the leading lady. Arulnithi plays Thiru, a man with speech and hearing impairment and has quite a temper. The plot revolves around his ear condition.
An accident at a construction site puts his life and his father's (Bharathiraja) in danger. When Thori admits his father at the government hospital, he realises that there is no guarantee to his father's life, courtesy the dubious and menacing workers there. The plot revolves around how he protects his father and himself, with his condition. Arulnithi is known to work on films with a twist and Thiruvin Kural is one such addition to his long list of interesting films.

Thiruvin Kural has an ensemble star cast including Subatra Robert, Monekha Siva, Ashraf, AR Jeeva, Harish Somasundaram, Mahendran, Mullaiarasi and others to name a few. While Sam CS has scored the music, Sinto Poduthas has handled the cinematography and Ganesh Siva, the editing. Stunt sequences are choreographed by Dhilip Subbarayan & Phantom Pradeep. The film has been bankrolled by Lyca Productions.
Arulnithi is currently shooting for the sequel to his horror thriller Demonte Colony (2015). The film has Priya Bhavani Shankar, Tsering Dorjee, Arun Pandian, Muthukumar, Meenakshi Govindarajan and Sarjano Khalid as part of the star cast. Arulnithi and Priya Bhavani Shankar had earlier teamed up for Kalathil Sandhippom and Demonte Colony 2 will mark their second outing together.
The film is helmed by Ajay Gnanamuthu and the director had announced that he was planning to convert Demonte Colony into a franchise and that there will be many more films around the Demonte Colony Universe.
