This Is Us star Mandy Moore expresses her desire to direct the blockbuster series

This Is Us has been a well-received show that appealed to a mass audience for its emotional and heart-warming storyline. Mandy Moore who portrays the role of the family matriarch, Rebecca on the show had been filming for the sixth and final season of the family drama web series since the previous week. She recently expressed her desire to take up the director’s reins for one of the episodes of the show.

According to an ANI report, Mandy Moore felt like she could take up the director’s reins after getting a hang of how it works on the sets. She even hopes to see if the direction is in her kitty for her future ventures after This Is Us.

She also revealed to her friend and former MTV executive, Vinnie Potestivo by saying, “If I'm going to dip my toe into those waters and see if that's something that I truly am passionate about and excited by, I mean, what better opportunity than doing it in this sense with this group of people.” (Talking about the cast and crew of This Is Us)

As we already know, Mandy Moore has been working on the show since the beginning, from 2016. The actor took to social media the previous week, to put up a post of her and Milo Ventimiglia, announcing the return of the team of This Is Us to the sets. The shoot of its final season is currently going at a steady pace.
