Director H Vinoth's Thunivu is all set to hit screens in a day (January 11) and expectations are soaring about the Ajith-starrer. The FDFS of the film will begin at 1am itself and fans are all set to celebrate the big occasion. The makers are also leaving no stone unturned to promote the film across the globe. The star cast includes Ajith, Manju Warrier, Samuthirakani, John Kokken, Veera and Vishwanath.

In the meantime, H Vinoth has said in a recent interview that the plot has to do a lot with money. He is quoted as saying, "There was a time when wars were fought using hands, stones, weapons, guns and bombs. Today, everything revolves around money and it's important to understand the economics behind it."

H Vinoth has also stated that those who come to watch his films should get something out of it. "Fans take the box office numbers very personally, but they may not always be entirely true. Instead of giving importance to that, one should go to a film with a relaxed state of mind. If the audience has forgotten their stressful life for a couple of hours and have learnt something out of it, that's all that matters. The producers who have invested money in the films should get something out of it and so should those who spend their hard-earned money for the tickets. I am only trying to provide a different angle for a problem that people have battling on a day-to-day basis.

H Vinoth also stated that Ajith has been a huge inspiration in his life. "When a doctor I know landed in Chennai with just Rs 2,000 in hand, the first poster that he saw was that of Ajith. He thought, 'If Ajith who comes from a non-film background can become such a huge fan in the industry, so can I'. Look at him, he can inspire anyone, right from a doctor. And the reason for that is he doesn't give speeches or interviews. He merely does his job." The director also added that he hopes that it's a win-win situation for both Varisu and Thunivu and that both fans went home happily.
