Story:

Takemichi has to travel in the past in order to save his girlfriend Hina. Is he taking the right steps?

Review:

Tokyo Revengers commences where the last episode ended – with Taiju, Hakkai, Yuzuha and Takemichi in the centre of the story. Of course, Yuzuha is sexualized, just like most manga and anime do with women.

Mitsuya is back and he’s adorable as always. In the storm, he is the definition of zen. However, Mitsuya is also not the one to back out of a fight and when it comes to that, he’s no less than fire.

Drakken is back with Mikey too. The two as cute and crazy as always.

The one thing you do not understand is how are three people not fighting one man. No justification is given for the same. That is a little dizzying but can be overlooked since in the past, the makers have established that the Tokyo Manji gang have immense dignity and fight their own battles.

Chifuyu comes as a pleasant surprise. Him even naming Kisaki and Hanma, on the other hand, doesn’t.

Inui comes in as the bad surprise. Things get extremely exciting soon after.

Takemichi is cute as always. He’s hilarious in a serious situation which doesn’t work well. However, Mitsuya steals his thunder and rightfully so.

Hakkai, on the other hand, does not come as a surprise even one bit. He is his same old self which is beyond disappointing.

Takemichi comes as a good surprise by the end of the episode. You absolutely did not see his decision coming from miles away.

Verdict:

Tokyo Revengers season 2 episode 7 is one of the best out there. There’s drama, comedy, action, friendship, love, brotherhood and so much more in this episode. It is sure to leave your heart full.
