Farhan Akhtar’s Toofaan was lauded by fans across the country post its release. The sports-drama film also stars Mrunal Thakur as the leading lady. The film’s peppy tracks, including Todun Taak and Jo Tum Aa Gaye Ho, have also received the hearts of the audience. The makers have now dropped a behind-the-scenes video titled Toofaani Transformation.

The latest video shows the whole body and looks transformation of the actor that has been in the film. The video starts with a scene from the film, where Farhan was asked how he is going to be in perfect shape for the sport, while the actor replies, “I will do it.” Talking about the transformation, filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra said in the video, “It’s not easy to plan a film, where your hero has different looks and it’s not just a haircut or a beard trim, it’s the whole physicality. There’s a method to this madness, which I don’t understand.”

While talking about the same, Farhan explained that getting out of shape was a big challenge for him rather than becoming fit again for his part. “I wanted to not rely on any kind of prosthetic that makes you look bigger and fatter,” he added.

The Bhaag Milkha Bhaag actor can be seen going through rigorous training in the video, where we can see his body and look transformation for the film as well as his boxing training, which has been coached by the former world kickboxing champion Drew Neal. Farhan can also be seen struggling through all the phases of the transformation.

Toofaan also features Paresh Rawal, Isha Talwar, Darshan Kumar and Vijay Raaz in supporting roles. The film can be streamed on Amazon Prime Video.
