Trailer for Bhavana's horror thriller Hunt will be out on THIS date

Hunt, helmed by Shaji Kailas and starring Bhavana in the lead role, is a horror thriller that went on floors in December 2022 and wrapped up in February 2023. While there wasn't much news from the film, the makers have now revealed that the trailer for the film will be released soon.

The makers have said that the trailer will be launched by actor Manju Warrier on September 3 at 5 pm. Scripted by Nikhil Anand, Hunt is set in a medical college, and Bhavana plays a nurse in the film. Along with Bhavana, Hunt also stars Renji Panicker, Ajmal Ameer, Rahul Madhav, Aditi Ravi, Nandu, and Chandhunadh in important roles.

The film's teaser was released recently, and it features Bhavana wearing a nurse's uniform and attempting to solve an unusual case. Towards the end of the teaser, Bhavana looks disturbed by her discovery, letting out a fearful scream.

Hunt is Bhavana's second Malayalam film in 5 years

It is interesting to note that Hunt is Bhavana's second Malayalam film in five years. The film also sees her team up with director Shaji Kailas after their successful collaboration on Chinthamani Kola Case in 2006. Bhavana's most recent release in theatres was the romantic comedy-drama Ntikkakkokkoru Premondarnn, which also had Sharafudheen in the lead role.

Bhavana's upcoming projects

Bhavana has a slew of projects lined up. She will be seen in the thriller Rani, which is written and directed by Shankar Ramakrishnan. The teaser for the film was released recently, and it featured Indrans as an investigator. Bhavana is also teaming up with Spadikam director Bhadran in a movie titled Eo. The film, which was earlier titled Joothan, has Bhavana and Shane Nigam in lead roles. In an interview with OTTplay, Eo's scriptwriter, S Suresh Babu, said that Bhavana will play a two-time National Award-winning South Indian actress in the film.
