Aren't the firsts always special? Before you take off on another tangent, we're discussing actress Trisha Krishna's Telugu web series Brinda. Brinda, to premiere on the streaming platform SonyLIV soon, isn't only the first web show in the career of Trisha but is also the first time she'll play a cop on the screen. The Varsham actress caught the attention of netizens when she shared a few images from the sets of the show recently.

"#Brinda with a lil love on the side 馃幀鉂わ笍," the actress tweeted, sharing an image where she's seen playing with a few puppies on the sets of the show. The web series that took off in October 2021 is progressing at a brisk pace. Brinda is written and directed by Surya Vangala. Jay Krishna, who was part of the writing department of Radhe Shyam, Dear Comrade, Krishnagaadi Veera Prema Gadha and aha's Bhamakalapam, is associated with Brinda as well.

The show has music by Fidaa-fame composer Shakthikanth Karthick. Leading production designer Avinash Kolla is also working on the project bankrolled by And Stories. The Family Man, Uma Maheshwara Ugra Roopasya actor Ravindra Vijay is part of Brinda's cast too. More details about the show's cast and crew is expected to be shared shortly.

It has been over 7 years since Trisha has had a release in Telugu - her last project being the Tamil-Telugu bilingual Cheekati Rajyam. In Tamil, she's next awaiting the theatrical release of Mani Ratnam's two-part magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan, where Trisha plays a princess named Kundavai Illaiya Piratti.
