It looks like Trisha's upcoming film, The Road trailer has become a hit among fans. The latest we hear is that the film has crossed 10 million views in a short span. The Road is said to be a revenge drama, directed by debutant Arun Vaseegaran.
Trisha shares her excitement on social media
South Queen Trisha shared her excitement about the 10 million views for the trailer and thanked the audience. She also dropped a unique motion poster to announce the news. The trailer had hit 5 million views in a span of 24 hours. It begins with the popular saying by Freidrich Nietzsche, "In revenge and in love woman is more barbaric than man is."
Going by the trailer, it looks like Trisha's character is on a mission to take revenge and her journey takes her to different places. There are accidents on the highway, drug cartels and untoward incidents around her. The Road seems to be quite an action-packed film, just like its tagline, 'Revenge in 462 kms'.
Star cast and crew
Mia George plays Trisha's confidant in the film, while Dancing Rose Shabeer Kallarakkal, Santhosh Prathap, MS Bhaskar, Vivek Prasanna, Vela Ramamoorthy, Laxmi Priya, Semmalar Annam, Raatchasan Vinoth and Karupu Nambiyaar are also part of the star cast.
Music is by Sam CS. While the cinematography is by KG Venkatesh, editing is by AR Shivaraj. Phoenix Prabhu has choreographed the stunts. The Road is bankrolled by AAA Cinemaa Pvt Limited and is all set to be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

In the meantime, the buzz is that Trisha is all set to play the leading lady in Ajith's upcoming film with Magizh Thirumeni, Vidaa Muyarchi. The shoot for the film is likely to begin in the first week of October and we hear that a part of the team has already headed to Abu Dhabi for the first schedule. Trisha is also awaiting the release of Lokesh Kanagaraj's Leo, in which she has teamed up with Vijay.
